When purchasing French fries of any size, participants have the chance to win a trip to Germany, Italy, France or Japan to “taste McDonald’s fries.”
“This will be the trip of a lifetime for fans of French fries and a way for us to solidify our relationship with fans of our brand by rewarding our app users beyond simply accumulating points,” said Alisa Poitekover, Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s Canada.
Customers who purchase french fries in the app can also earn travel items, such as carry-on baggage, and accumulate points.
In addition to the chance to win a trip, customers will receive bonus points redeemable for free French fries in the McDonald’s app for the duration of the contest and have the chance to win* exclusive travel items, like a McDonald’s colored luggage bag. During the program, the more French fries they buy Canadian customers in the app, the higher their chances of winning.
To participate, customers of the chain must be enrolled in the MyMcDo rewards program on the app.
